The engine was disassembled, cleaned and inspected, with numerous internal components replaced including tappets, piston rings, rocker shafts, connecting rod bushings and piston pins. Valves and seats were serviced, applicable ADs complied with, and the engine subsequently completed an FAA-certified test-cell run and was documented as meeting OEM specifications.

EXTERIOR
Aircraft was stripped and professionally repainted in 2002 in Matterhorn White with Dark Green Metallic, Medium Gold Metallic, and Cherry Red Metallic accents.
Primary flight controls were removed during the paint process, checked for balance, and properly reinstalled.
LOGBOOK HISTORY
Early original logbooks are not present. Subsequent aircraft records contain reconstructed aircraft times and historical maintenance information derived from previous records. The current owner has also worked with the FAA to reconstruct and document portions of the aircraft’s earlier history.

A minor left aileron repair is documented from 2002. The outboard portion of the left aileron was repaired with a doubler and the aileron balance was checked following the repair.
